QSID 5-11 Year Old Program
At QSI Dushanbe Elementary School, our aim is to cultivate self-assured students who can leverage their education as a springboard to success in life. Our curriculum prioritizes core academic subjects like Literacy, Mathematics, Science, and Cultural Studies, taught by native English-speaking educators. With our small class sizes, we ensure personalized instruction tailored to each student's needs, fostering an environment where every child can thrive.
For English language learners, we offer Intensive English classes, while those proficient in English engage in daily lessons from our World Language department, featuring French, German, and Russian. Tajik language classes are also available after school for Tajik citizens. Additionally, students benefit from weekly specialist classes in Art, Music, Physical Education, and Technology.
Beyond academics, our elementary program offers a diverse array of activities such as swimming, team sports, and problem-solving games—both real and virtual. Throughout all aspects of our curriculum and activities, we instill the QSI Success Orientations, promoting empathy and ethical decision-making as essential skills for success in the classroom and beyond.
Each lower elementary child is an explorer-reading gives them a way to explore and imagine worlds they haven’t seen, and with writing, they can create worlds of their own.
As they advance in their education, upper elementary students move beyond basic skills and become more mature, developing socially and preparing for middle school. Learning becomes more intense and complicated, requiring students to broaden their abilities and develop deeper reasoning and critical thinking skills.
